The marina, one of the most popular spots and is exclusively for Beacon Hill residents. Here boats come and go and are stored in state-of-the-art floating boat slips with stationary lifts in the roof. Leasing a boat slip in the marina includes access to the air conditioned party rooms with flat screen TVs and poker tables as well as bathrooms and private storage for beverages and other supplies. You can meet your neighbors, clients or friends from the office for an afternoon party in one of the party rooms; have the concierge arrange for food and drink – even a live combo! This is what a luxury lakeside lifestyle is all about – and it’s all yours, just 45 minutes from downtown Dallas.
A fully lighted 900’ jetty/observation pier protects the Marina and also provides excellent fishing areas day and night. The jetty is an artful and pristine piece of architecture itself and is home to our signature beacon that guides boaters and landlubbers back home at night as it can be seen for miles around.
Beacon Hill is all about fun on the water – kayaking, canoeing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, jet skiing, boating and, of course, fishing. From the side of a boat, a private inland lake or one of several ponds with over 2000’ of cascading water features, to the end of our renowned jetty, there are all kinds of fantastic places a child can catch his or her first fish. Or learn to ski. Or to swim. All kinds of opportunities for families and friends to make memories that will last a lifetime. And best of all, this is you own private kingdom-your special "getaway" just 45 minutes form downtown Dallas.
When you escape to your lakeside paradise, we want to make sure everything is as you left it. While you are here we want you to feel relaxed in the privacy of this intimate gated community. The gated entry helps assure all of the above as only residents and approved personnel will have keys to the entrance.
Beyond the gate a 3500 foot private drive leads you to the property through beautiful woods and elaborate landscaping. In fact, throughout the Beacon Hill community residents will find an abundance of landscaping designed by award-winning landscape architect Jason Osterberger. Subdued lighting and water features also add to the enjoyment - and value.
Ever seen a Spoon Bill Crane? At Beacon Hill you can. From the American White Pelican to a Red Tail Hawk, birdwatchers will find a variety of the rarest species at either of Beacon Hill’s two wild bird sanctuaries designed as wildlife management areas (one of the few subdivisions designated by the state). One within the community and the other on a nearby island. A 3000 foot trail offers serene areas for bird-watching, biking, picnicking or just a lazy stroll beneath the shady arbors of beautiful east Texas trees and shrubs of every kind.
Beacon Hill has many exciting and planned water features. A unique waterfall and fallen log sculpture designed by Texas sculptor Billy Williams, feeds into Lake Ava Rosetta, an interior 9 acre fishing and swimming pond. One of the longest continuous man-made water features in the world, designed by In-Control Inc., includes natural rock surrounding artisan pools, which flow to James' Pond, Emily's Pond, and Jake's Pond, and link a series of homesites with unique opportunities to incorporate these water features into your own landscaping plans.
Of course, not everyone is a fisherman or water-skier. There are those among us who also love to golf. Fear not. Golf and Social memberships are available to Cedar Creek Country Club, only 3 miles away. So, whether you prefer to tee it up, crank it up, or soak up a few rays on your deck overlooking the lake, we believe you will find Beacon Hill to be your perfect retreat to unwind from the stresses of life.
