Private Marina
The marina, one of the most popular spots and is exclusively for Beacon Hill residents. Here boats come and go and are stored in state-of-the-art floating boat slips with stationary lifts in the roof. Leasing a boat slip in the marina includes access to the air conditioned party rooms with flat screen TVs and poker tables as well as bathrooms and private storage for beverages and other supplies. You can meet your neighbors, clients or friends from the office for an afternoon party in one of the party rooms; have the concierge arrange for food and drink – even a live combo! Jetty
A fully lighted 900’ jetty/observation pier protects the Marina and also provides excellent fishing areas day and night. The jetty is an artful and pristine piece of architecture itself and is home to our signature beacon that guides boaters and landlubbers back home at night as it can be seen for miles around.

Bird Sanctuary
Ever seen a Spoon Bill Crane? At Beacon Hill you can. From the American White Pelican to a Red Tail Hawk, birdwatchers will find a variety of the rarest species at either of Beacon Hill’s two wild bird sanctuaries designed as wildlife management areas (one of the few subdivisions designated by the state). One within the community and the other on a nearby island. A 3000 foot trail offers serene areas for bird-watching, biking, picnicking or just a lazy stroll beneath the shady arbors of beautiful east Texas trees and shrubs of every kind.
Water Features
Beacon Hill has many exciting and planned water features. A unique waterfall and fallen log sculpture designed by Texas sculptor Billy Williams, feeds into Lake Ava Rosetta, an interior 9 acre fishing and swimming pond. One of the longest continuous man-made water features in the world, designed by In-Control Inc., includes natural rock surrounding artisan pools, which flow to James' Pond, Emily's Pond, and Jake's Pond, and link a series of homesites with unique opportunities to incorporate these water features into your own landscaping plans.
